Three things you can do to get ready for swimsuit season
For some of us swimsuit season is a super daunting time. Being really exposed in swimwear can be one of the most publicly intimate experiences a woman can have. At HCM, we want to shatter these insecurities and give women their power back. Most of the time we are in a swimsuit we are supposed to be enjoying the moment, not in our heads thinking about cellulite that literally no one notices but you.
So that brings us to our first bullet point:
1. Stop being mean to yourself.
We are our biggest critics. We consume a lot of external information through
social media and advertisements. We subconsciously are internalizing all these
different messages. It can lead to us constantly comparing ourselves to others & feeling inadequate. At the end of the day, you are your own best friend. Which is cliche, but so true. Don’t allow your emotions to attack yourself. Confidence is the most attractive trait. You glow differently when you treat yourself with love & care.
2. Start Self Care.
NOW Self care is a year round practice that can help improve your mental & physical health. It looks different for everyone but some selfcare acts can be journaling, having a skin care routine, exercising your body, keeping your space clear of clutter and having a healthy diet. Taking care of yourself is an automatic confidence boost and can help you manage stress, lower your risk of illness and increase overall energy.

3. Do your research
Our sense of style is an extension of who we are and it might be materialistic but it does affect how you feel about yourself and how others perceive you.
Dig in to your style and brands that you’re interested in. In a world of fast fashion, we get lost in trends & lose identity. Find brands that align with your purpose and have qualities that you’re looking for in clothing. When you are wearing something that actually feels good, you don’t spend time worrying about what you look like.
You're able to fully embrace and enjoy the moment. We might be biased but HCM swimwear has some GREAT swim for women.. Definitely check them out :)
